Entry and Accounts
When entering for the first time, you can pick a language and create a random account without entering your name, phone number, or email. Existing accounts can log in with bound credentials.
You create a persisting random account. Public nicknames reset daily based on UTC date; changing nicknames does not create a new account.
Random accounts are stored on your current browser or device. Switching devices or clearing data may cause identity loss; to preserve memberships or payments, use supported in-app account binding.
Rooms and Conversation
You can join same-language public rooms or enter a topic to create a new room. Hosts can configure topics, capacity limits, and slow mode.
Private rooms require a room number and password to join and do not appear in public discovery lists; hosts can also require admission approval.
Group chats are public or semi-public spaces visible to others. Avoid sharing company, school, home address, schedules, or details linking to real-world identity.
Message Rules
Standard messages are delivered only in real-time with no offline history; missed messages will not be backfilled. The current device shows received messages only while the room is open.
Prohibited messages may be intercepted by the system or handled by hosts and administrators. Use in-app reporting if you encounter harassment, privacy leaks, or illegal content.
Room Closure and Data
Rooms exist for at most 24 hours from creation, and may close earlier if disbanded by host, inactivity timeout, or moderation.
When closed, the chat interface disconnects and clears displayed room messages; room records, memberships, and pending reports are deleted from the active database.
Deletion upon room closure cleans up application database records and caches, which is distinct from physical disk, WAL, or historical backup overwrites. Offline devices clear page content once back online or notified.
