Post a sentence of how you feel, or join and reply to existing topics.
Others may reply. No contact exchange required, and no need to keep chatting.
ODO does not provide end-to-end encryption and cannot prevent screenshots or copying. Account, session credentials and payments are kept separately from rooms and do not vanish upon room closure.

You create a persisting random account. Public nicknames reset daily based on UTC date; changing nicknames does not create a new account. Rooms last at most 24 hours and may close earlier when dissolved or moderated. Public-room hosts keep their seat while offline; other public-room members free their seat after 15 continuous offline minutes. In private rooms, non-host members leave when their last connection goes offline, including app switching or refreshing, and must rejoin on return. Private rooms close if all host connections stay offline for over 15 minutes, even if members remain. The server retains the latest 20 messages per room. New private rooms retain end-to-end encrypted ciphertext; reading older messages requires local keys or a history grant from an authorized member. A fresh browser may wait while all key holders are offline. Public rooms and existing legacy private rooms use encryption at rest, and current members can read their retained history. This browser caches up to 500 seen messages and drafts until room expiry. Clearing browser data may remove identity, history and encryption keys. Room closure deletes server messages and encrypted key delivery records. Online devices clear promptly; offline devices clear when running again and validating. Screenshots and copies cannot be prevented.
No registration is required. You never need to enter a phone number, real name, or email to start chatting. A persistent random account with a daily pseudonym is generated automatically in your browser so you can start chatting immediately.
